Summer 1997 Volodia Jordan went to Tashkent. So the veterans of the TTZ mountaineering club were together again -Luba, Hmyrovich, Jordan except for Sasha Zubko. 
They took Sergey Zubko - his son and August 12 they headed into the mountains. You can see the brave group on start - Zina Varopaeva, Volodia Jordan, Sergey Zubko, Volodia Hmyrovich on background of Chatkal valley. The route was by that dusty road along Chatkal river to the pass "10 killed". This is well known place where they were not once with Sasha.
Before the start, it was planned short breakfast at friend place - Hadzi-Myrat. The meal was unexpectedly long and at 11 am when the group "was ready" they did a brave attempt to start the trip. But it didn't last long (hundred yards) - extremely friendly Hadzi-Myrat invited them for a early lunch. The process of drinking hot green tea, eating tasty homemade food has been continued for a long time.
At the some point of endless process of filling the stomach they took a break and left Hadzi-Myrat fasenda . The route was very familiar. But the normal heroes go always using short-cuts. You know the song. The short cut ended on the middle of mountain ridge for two days without water. Once again it was Central Asia and August - the driest and hottest month of the year. For the dinner they had only 1 liter of water for 5 tired people spent whole day under the sun.
Everything went OK, everybody had a lot of memorable moments during this trip.
Next weekend August 22 Volodia Hmyrovich, Volodia Jordan, Sergey Zubko, Rinat Nasibulin climbed Mt. Chimgan (3888 m ) at the record time - around 4 hours. Jordan taped a short video film about this event. Successful climb ended up at Helena Jordan family fasenda. Rinat took a wide shot of the picnic. This is probably the last picture of Volodia Hmurovich.
